NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – In just a week, all New Mexican families will have access to free childcare. But there have been a lot of questions about how it will work. On Friday, the state changed the rules to help. Childcare owners have been worried they'll lose money because the state's payments would not cover all their expenses. The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department said they listened and made some changes.
