The final week of the regular season is in the books, and now all games are win or go home as the postseason kicks off next week across Kansas.

Multiple district titles were on the line to headline this final week of play, including in our Blitz Game of the Week with Sterling hosting Trinity Catholic. After a tight start, this turned into a very business like win for the Black Bears, with Zane Farney turning in another big day on the ground to lead them to a 34-12 win. The win locks in a perfect regular season for Sterling, their first 8-0 start since 1989. Now their eyes are set on keeping it going through the 1A playoffs as they chase their first title since 1982.
