Danny Welbeck will make his return to Manchester United with Brighton this Saturday, with the striker currently in a strong run of form.

Welbeck had netted 29 goals for United across 142 matches when he was offloaded to Arsenal at the age of 23 for £16million.

The attacker subsequently managed 32 goals in 126 outings for the Gunners before departing in 2019. An unremarkable single-season stint at Watford ensued, and it appeared United had been vindicated in allowing the Manchester-born talent to exit Old Trafford .
