A Kent restaurant has scooped two prestigious prizes at this year's Curry Life Awards. Not only was Naz's Rasoi in Strood named 'Editor's Choice', owner Naz Islam also won the award for Best Chef.
He was one of only nine nationwide to be recognised. The Best Chef award acknowledged Naz's lifelong passion for culinary creativity, his respect for the authenticity of Bangladeshi cuisine, and his innovative approach to creating "unique and memorable meals".
He has created a unique menu which features dishes centred on creating depth of flavour using only the freshest, natural spices and herbs. Chef Naz expressed immense pride upon receiving the award: "This signifies a major milestone in my career, recognising years of hard work and passion."
