Nearly five kilograms of cocaine, £30,000 in cash and an arsenal of weapons were found in a safe hidden beneath the floor of a home near Sevenoaks . Jay Harris used multiple associates to flee to Devon when police raided his house last year and has since been sentenced to 10 years and three months’ imprisonment for drugs and weapons offences.
Officers attended Harris’ home in Harrow Road, near Knockholt, on December 7. Harris fled through the back garden.
Teams were deployed to pursue him while officers carried out a search warrant at the property. Officers found the safe in a hide, which had been cut into floorboards in the bedroom, with a flap cut into the carpet to permit access.
