Halloween fans who aren’t satiated by the movies or people in costume can venture into legends of real-life horror stories.
Here are some of the top “haunted” spots in Niagara.
Fort George

Fort George is considered one of the “most haunted spots in Canada” according to Tourism Niagara. With its history, the claim makes sense. Fort George was the site of numerous military conflicts, especially during the War of 1812. American soldiers attacked the fort in 1813, and successfully captured it after a battle that involved many casualties. After occupying the fort for seven months, the Americans were defeated.
There are two particular ghosts reported to haunt the site. The Tall Man is usually spotted around the Blockhouse, a log building at the fort. T
