Saturday is the final day to vote in the Elmwood-East Kildonan byelection race. Here's what voters need to know before heading to the polls.

The byelection was triggered by a vacancy left after the death of councillor Jason Schreyer in April .

Seven candidates are running to fill Schreyer's seat based on campaign promises that include repairing roads and infrastructure, improving public safety and restoring community programs.

There are also two school trustee elections in other areas of the city on the same day.
