Marvel debuts a brand-new Avengers team, comprised by upgraded versions of Marvel icons. Ever since Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, and the Wasp founded the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes have gone through countless different line-ups. A large number of Marvel heroes have been Avengers at some point, which means that some iterations of the team are vastly stronger than others.

Throughout the years, several X-Men have also joined the ranks of the Avengers. Mutants like Beast, Storm, Wolverine, and the Maximoff Twins are some of the most famous mutants to receive membership. Events like Avengers Disassembled , Avengers vs X-Men , and Civil War have also blurred the line between both teams.
