The No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels (6-1, 3-1 SEC) and the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners (6-1, 2-1) meet Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (ABC). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NCAA football odds around the Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma odds and make our expert college football picks and predictions for the best bets.
Ole Miss leads the all-time series 2-0. The Rebels won 26-14 in Oxford last season, although the Sooners covered as 19-point road underdogs with the Under (50) cashing in the first meeting as SEC foes.
The Rebels suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday, falling 43-35 at No. 5 Georgia and just missing the cover as 7.5 underdogs as the Over (57) cashed between the hedges. QB Trinidad Chambliss threw for 263 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT, while running for a team-best 42 yards and 2 TDs on 9 carries. RB Kewan Lacy added 31 rushing yards and 2 scores on 12 carries.
After opening the season 4-1 against the spread (ATS), the Rebels have failed to cover in back-to-back games for the first time this season. The Over at Georgia was the first in the last 4 Ole Miss games, although the Over holds a 4-3 edge in 7 games this season.
Oklahoma rebounded with a 26-7 win at South Carolina last week, covering as a 4.5-point favorite as the Under (43) connected. QB John Mateer threw for just 150 yards with 1 TD, while RB Tory Blaylock ran for 101 yards and a score.
The week before (Oct. 11), the Sooners lost 23-6 to now-No. 18 Texas in the Red River Rivalry game. The cover against the Gamecocks was the Sooners' first since a 42-3 at Temple Sept. 13. The Sooners are just 3-3-1 ATS this season, while the Under is 7-0!.

Ole Miss at Oklahoma picks and predictions
Prediction
Ole Miss 29, Oklahoma 22
Moneyline
OLE MISS (+165) is a strong play as moderate underdogs.
Chambliss and the Rebels offense have been on a roll, and Mateer and the Sooners just haven't been hitting on all cylinders. Perhaps Mateer returned too quickly from a thumb injury. In any event, it won't be easy for Ole Miss as the Oklahoma defense has been on point this season. The Sooners allow just 213.0 yards per game, tops in the nation, but the Rebels offense averages 491.9 YPG to rank eighth.
Against the spread
Ole Miss +5.5 (-115) is still a decent play if you a little more conservative and you don't want to bet the Rebels moneyline. Be careful not to get carried away, though, as the Rebels are 0-2 ATS in their 2 road games this season.
Oklahoma is just 1-2-1 ATS in the past 4 games, while going 1-2-1 ATS in 4 games at home.
Just don't bet more than 1½ between the Ole Miss ML and the Ole Miss spread.
Over/Under
UNDER 52.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
Ole Miss has hit the Under at a 3-1 clip in the past 4 games, with the defense allowing 21 or fewer points in 3 of those 4 outings.
As mentioned, Oklahoma has hit the Under at a perfect 7-0 clip this season. The Sooners are so-so offensively, going for 28.7 PPG. However, on defense, the Sooners have had it on lockdown. Along with being No. 1 in least total yards allowed, they're second in points allowed (9.43 -- behind Ohio State's 5.86), third in rushing yards allowed (80.4) and fourth in passing yards allowed (132.6).
