DENTON, Texas — A former Denton police officer and two current officers were indicted Thursday on charges including official oppression and tampering with a governmental record after a months-long investigation, officials say.
The indictments come after the Denton County District Attorney's Office determined that a probable cause affidavit written by officer William Hulslander didn't align with body-worn camera video evidence that allegedly showed officer Ronald Foy misusing his department-issued chemical spray, according to the Denton Police Department .
