Unfathomable Horrors has scrubbed its Halloween production of The Cabinet.

The original work by director Calvin Lane was to open Wednesday for a five-night run at Sault Theatre Workshop’s Studio Theatre.

“ Something happened a couple of days ago that has completely changed everything for us,” Lane told The Sault Star. “There’s outside factors, basically.”

He declined to elaborate.

There was “debating back and forth, seeing what’s doable” until a decision was made early last Friday to cancel the production.

“ We finally decided that there’s not much that we can do about this,” said Lane.

Ticket holders can get refunds at Community Theatre Box Office at Station Mall.

Unfathomable Horrors launched in fall 2024 with Estate of Madness. A production of Macbeth followed this summer.
