Cowboys trade rumor from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler provides hope for struggling defense
The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly searching high and low on the trade market for help along the defensive side of the ball.
The Cowboys have been linked to interest in big names like the Las Vegas Raiders ' Maxx Crosby and the Cincinnati Bengals ' Trey Hendrickson, but neither one is available, according to reports.
But the Cowboys' quest to add an "impact defensive player" continues, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, who shares the rumor that Dallas has "called around to several teams" during their search.
Fowler notes that defensive line (edge rusher included) and linebacker are all on the table, and acquiring a player from "any tier" of talent level is being considered.
