Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a woman that occurred in her Holbrook apartment this morning. The 74-year-old resident was sitting on the couch when she was confronted by a man who had entered her apartment through a window. The suspected confronted her and physically and sexually assaulted her sometime between 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. The man fled and the woman called 911. She was transported to a hospital.
