VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI - No one was injured after an officer-involved shooting Friday night in southwest Michigan.
One male suspect was arrested for “suspected operating while impaired,” according to the Michigan State Police.
The incident took place at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 24 on I-94 near mile marker 66 in Mattawan, Van Buren County.
There were no reported injuries, and no one was hit by gunfire in the shooting that involved state troopers assigned to the Paw Paw Post.
Police did not provide more information on how the shooting unfolded when contacted Saturday morning. An update is expected to be given Saturday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing.
