Woodbury is getting an infusion of indoor slides.
It'll be home to Minnesota's second Slick City Action Park. The indoor park chain opened its first Minnesota hub earlier this year, with a 43,000-square-foot slide park in Maple Grove.
The attraction, which got planning commission approval in March, is now close to opening at 587 Settlers Ridge Parkway.
The new roughly 50,000-square-foot location will have slides, trampoline areas, a dedicated play area for kids five and under, an arcade, party rooms, and a café.
The Woodbury play space is owned by franchisees Annie and Mike Kelly, who also operate Slick City Maple Grove. At the time of that park's opening, representatives for the company told Bring Me The News the couple planned to open two more locations around the Twin Cities.
