TOWN OF VIENNA, Wis. (WMTV) - A meeting that was expected to bring new information about a proposed QTS data center project in northern Dane County was abruptly canceled Friday, less than 30 minutes before it was set to begin — leaving residents gathered outside the Town of Vienna Hall frustrated and searching for answers.

The agenda for the special meeting included a closed session to discuss a proposed agreement with QTS, but no opportunity for public comment. Town Clerk Kathleen Clark confirmed before the cancelation that no vote was expected.

Residents still showed up — many taking time off work — hoping to learn more about a project they say has raised more questions than answers.
