Former U.S. vice president Kamala Harris indicated she may run again for president while expressing confidence that a woman will one day occupy the White House.
In an interview with the BBC set to air Sunday, Harris said she would “possibly” be president one day, marking her clearest indication yet that she could launch another presidential campaign in 2028, following her loss against Donald Trump last year.
However, Harris added that she has not made a final decision but still believes she has a future in politics.
“I am not done,” the former vice president told the BBC. “I have lived my entire career as a life of service and it’s in my bones.”
When asked about polls placing her behind others for the Democratic ticket, Harris said she pays little attention to these numbers.
