Charlotte Fire responded to South Boulevard to contain a gas line fire early Saturday morning.

It happened in the 9300 block of South Boulevard near the Carolina Pavilion and I-485 Light Rail station.

Around 8:30 a.m., Charlotte Fire said it was under control and that no injured were reported from the fire.

It is unclear what led up to incident. Charlotte Fire said it remained on scene to assist Piedmont Natural Gas.
