Texas reporter links Titans, Dolphins jobs to Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian

Texas Longhorns football coach Steve Sarkisian was linked to an NFL jump on Saturday morning, just before the early slate kicked off. The Athletic’s Diana Russini reported that “representatives for Texas coach Steve Sarkisian have let NFL decision makers know that he would be interested in potential head coaching openings, including the Titans’.”

247Sports’ Chip Brown linked Sarkisian to the Tennessee Titans, as well as a job that hasn’t opened up yet, the Miami Dolphins. As Brown notes, though, the Dolphins could explore a McDaniel firing after Miami’s 1-6 start.
