At its core, Gilmore Girls is a show about relationships, but it ruined one of its best in season 6. Of course, Gilmore Girls ' core bond is between mother-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory , but the series also explores Lorelai's fractured relationship with her parents, Richard and Emily, as well as the romantic lives of almost every main character.

Though Lorelai has several boyfriends throughout Gilmore Girls , we all know her endgame is with grumpy diner owner Luke Danes.
