“You see Brantford coming in, you know they’re at the top of their conference … and you know it’s going to be a good fight,” Sting goalie Patrick Quinlan said. “I think the boys were ready tonight. We came out hard and put them on their heels as much as you can and had a good battle with them.”

The Eastern Conference-leading Bulldogs (9-0-1-1) are ranked No. 1 in the Canadian Hockey League.

The Sting were eager for the challenge after taking three of a possible four points last weekend from the No. 4 Windsor Spit
