ATLANTA, G.A. (WSYR-TV) -
For the second time this season the Syracuse football team took the field down in Atlanta, Georgia. SU trying to snap a three-game losing streak against Georgia Tech.
At halftime, Syracuse trails #7 Georgia Tech 20-3. SU got on the board first, as Tripp Woody connected on a 27-yard field goal. With 6:16 left in the first quarter, the Yellow Jackets tied the game, on a 20-yard field goal from Aidan Birr.
Georgia Tech dominated the second quarter, as quarterback Haynes King found tight end Josh Beetham for a pair of touchdowns.
The Yellow Jackets have racked up 322 yards of total offense. Rickie Collins has been held to just 24-yards passing. Yasin Willis has rushed for 46-yards on five carries.
