BLOOMINGTON – In one sense, Indiana's first-half performance against UCLA this afternoon could scarcely have been better.
The Hoosiers were dominant on both sides of the line of scrimmage, holding the Bruins to 98 total yards, forcing two turnovers and scoring touchdowns on three consecutive offensive possessions at one juncture.
The result of that total decimation is a 35-3 halftime lead for the Hoosiers, who are cruising to their eighth consecutive victory to open the season. UCLA, winner of three in a row and the feel-good story of college football over the last several weeks, is the latest team to have its will totally taken by the Hoosier juggernaut.
