ALAPPUZHA: For the first time in four and a half years, a poster of a government program included the image of former minister and CPM veteran G Sudhakaran. The notice issued says that Sudharakan will be part of the inauguration of the Naluchira bridge in Thottappally on Sunday. The bridge will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at a ceremony presided over by Minister Mohammed Riyas.
G. Sudhakaran, who was Ambalapuzha MLA and Public Works Minister during the first Pinarayi government, took the initiative to prepare a plan for the construction of the Thottappally Naluchira bridge and allocated Rs 50 crore.
However, the last four years saw Sudhakaran getting sidelined by the party to the extent of not inviting him to inauguration events, which he was formerly part of. It was
