Several CT schools are about to get solar. Here’s how and why

Several technical high schools across Connecticut are slated to receive solar as part of a collaboration with the Connecticut Green Bank , officials said.

The projects are a collaborative effort between Connecticut Technical Education and Career System , the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services , and the Connecticut Green Bank through the Green Bank’s Solar MAP+ program .

Schools that are slated to receive solar include Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, W.F. Kaynor Technical High School in Waterbury, A.I. Prince Technical High School in Hartford, Eli Whitney Technical High School in Hamden, Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, H.H.
