The Los Angeles Kings look like they could be getting a big boost to their lineup on Saturday.

Kings captain Anze Kopitar has been activated from injured reserve, the team announced.

Kopitar, who announced prior to the season that it would be his last, was ruled out on a week-to-week basis with a foot injury on Oct. 17.

The Slovenian centre was hurt blocking a shot against the Minnesota Wild. He has four assists in four games.

The 3-3-2 Kings take on the Nashville Predators on Saturday.
