One person was found dead after an air tank explosion at a resort in Door County on Oct. 25.

According to a Door County Sheriff's Office news release , the office received report of an air tank explosion at Harbour Village Resort Campground at 5840 State Highway 42 in the Town of Egg Harbor on Oct. 25, at around 7:43 a.m.

A responding deputy also observed a partially destroyed storage building. The deceased person was outside the building.

According to the news release, no further information will be released at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.

Responding parties incuded emergency personnel from the Egg Harbor Fire Department, Egg Harbor Emergency Medical Responders, Door County Emergency Services, and the Door County Sheriff's Office.
