NORTH EASTON — Oliver Ames has accomplished basically everything it could the last few years. Capturing three straight Division 2 state crowns and seven consecutive Hockomock League titles is proof.

The only thing missing for the Tigers was a win over Concord-Carlisle and OA got the long-awaited victory Saturday at Muscato Stadium.

After losing to the Patriots each of the last four seasons — plus two state final defeats in the 2010s — the Tigers broke through with two second-half goals and a standout performance from senior goalie Zack Gilson to earn a 2-0 nonleague win in a matchup of premier programs in the state.
