The Portland Trail Blazers have been through a whirlwind first week of their 2025-26 season. They lost a narrow, fast-paced game to the heavily-favored Minnesota Timberwolves. The won in a blowout against the mildly-favored Golden State Warriors. Oh, and they replaced an entire head coach after a gambling scandal as big as anything that has rocked the franchise—or an NBA coaching staff—in history.
In the process we’ve seen a new style of play, new rotations and substitution patterns, and the debut of rookie head coach Tiago Splitter to the Blazers and the league.
After all that, we want to pose a simple question. After four days of constant stimulus, has your assessment of the Blazers risen, fallen, or stayed basically the same compared to your preseason outlook?
