BRAINERD — A whole collection of haunted dolls, pictures, sculptures and antiques reside right here in Brainerd.

From Ohio-born Annie, who’s been known to unlock the box she sits in, to little Lilly, carrying around the spirit of the little orphan girl who died in a fire many years ago. The dolls join more than 400 other haunted objects with unique backstories at the Minnesota Haunted Museum.

Brainerd’s newest haunt sits at 624 Washington St. and is set to open Monday, Oct. 27. The grand opening event will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with visitors able to walk through the museum themselves or take a guided flashlight tour with owner David Dauer.
