Fife Flyers’ agony goes on. They have now gone nine games without a win after Saturday’s 4-1 home defeat by Coventry Blaze in the Elite League.
A 3-1 final session win by the Midlands club sealed the deal after the visitors won the first session 1-0 and the middle stanza was blanked.
It took Blaze only 7min 12sec to go ahead, Grant Mismash netting, but Flyers hit back with a short-handed strike from new signing, Giordano Finoro.
His unassisted goal came after 42min 26sec but Fife’s joy was short-lived as Grayson Constable scored the go-ahead goal in 43min 47sec.
Blaze netted again 27 seconds later through William Boysen for 3-1 and Matthew Gleason secured the win with a fourth after 53min 59sec to make in another unhappy night for most of the 1,569 fans in The Fife Ice Arena.
