DICKINSON — Brady Holman has been a reliable piece for the Trinity Titans on both sides of the ball. He is the team’s leading receiver, with 271 yards receiving in the regular season, and is a key cog in Trinity’s defense.
In the Titans’ first-round playoff game against the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers, the senior defensive back was clutch. The Titans were leading by seven with 1:59 left in the third quarter and the Lakers had first-and-goal after the red and white were flagged for roughing the passer.
On the snap, Holman sacked Lakers quarterback Kyler Fisher for a loss of 10 yards, and then followed it up with another tackle on a trick play forcing Des Lacs-Burlington all the way to the 23-yard line. Trinity came away unscathed after the Lakers turned the ball over on downs.
