KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy’s pockets are a little lighter this week.

The second-year Chiefs wideout was fined by the NFL for taunting during Kansas City’s 31-0 Week 7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Worthy was fined for an unsportsmanlike conduct that went uncalled during the game. It happened in the third quarter after Worthy caught a 12-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Worthy got up after the play and looked down at Raiders defensive back Darnay Holmes, who was flagged for holding on the play.

The $11,593 fine for Worthy was his first unsportsmanlike conduct fine of the season.

According to the NFL, just .77% of all plays this season have resulted in fines.
