BIG RAPIDS, MI – The top-ranked Ferris State football team found itself in a battle Saturday after outscoring its three previous opponents 201-0.
The Bulldogs hosted rival Grand Valley State in the annual Anchor-Bone Classic and the two powerhouse Division II programs lived up to the billing. A late score from the Lakers pulled the game within one possession with less than two minutes remaining in the contest and forced the Bulldogs to sharpen their late-game execution skills.
