HILTON HEAD, SC. (WTOC) - Two men have been arrested following what the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office called a months-long investigation into the sale and distribution of cocaine in the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton areas.
The sheriff’s office worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to arrest 41-year-old Xavier Alexander Rosa-Cabrera and 38-year-old Rey-Agustin Zamora-Perez.
Both men are charged with the sale and distribution of cocaine and trafficking cocaine.
During the investigation, undercover agents made contact with the suspects and made an undercover purchase of cocaine. Following the arrests, agents got and executed search warrants at the suspects’ Hilton Head Island home.
Agents seized around four kilograms of cocaine and more than $25,000 in cash in total.
