A Teesside care home is celebrating clinching a national award for end of life care. Staff from Tollesby Hall Care Home in Middlesbrough travelled to Birmingham to receive the special accreditation from the Gold Standards Framework (GSF).

The Ladgate Lane premises were presented underwent an assessment to be awarded the accreditation for providing the highest level of end of life care.

Kevin Robinson-Husband, Director of Operations for Landona, which runs the Teesside home, said: "GSF has empowered our team to deliver the highest standards of palliative care within Tollesby Hall care home.
