Central Dauphin’s volleyball season came to an end Saturday in a 3-1 loss to South Western in a District 3 Class 4A quarterfinal at Hanover.

The No. 7 Rams dropped the opening two sets 12-25 and 23-25 before earning a 25-16 win in the third set to stay alive. The No. 2 Mustangs then won the fourth and final set 17-25.

Central Dauphin previously defeated Waynesboro 3-2 in the opening round Wednesday. The Rams’ season comes to an end with a 12-5 record.

Kellyn Ford led the way for the Mustangs with 33 assists, nine digs, two kills, two blocks and an ace while Aubrey Black added on 18 digs and an ace.
