COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina failed to get back in the win column as the Gamecocks gave up 15 fourth-quarter points in their 29-22 loss to No. 4 Alabama on homecoming.

SC started the game strong with an opening drive.

After an impressive drive, a stop from the Alabama front four led to a field goal, giving the Gamecocks a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter.

On South Carolina’s second drive, Rashul Faison missed a catch that led to a pick-six by the Crimson Tide’s DaShawn Jones.

Early in the second, Vicari Swain forced a fumble on Alabama quarterback Ty Simspon, giving the Gamecocks the ball with good field position.

After another field goal for South Carolina, Ty Simpson led a 9-play drive for a touchdown.

South Carolina went into halftime with a 14-6 lead.
