LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Howl-oween comes early for Beechmont’s furriest friends with the Beechmont Pet Costume Parade.

The Beechmont Neighborhood Association put on a not-so-scary Halloween parade with the local pooches.

Starting at Woodlawn and going down Southern Parkway, pets of all shapes and sizes livened up the streets with their best costumes.

There were also prizes, live music, and pet-friendly activities to celebrate the fall season.

Attendance was free, but donations of blankets, towels, and toys were accepted to be donated to one of Louisville’s animal shelters.
