The government will unveil an official logo for Delhi on November 1, which is observed as Delhi Day (Foundation Day), Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Saturday.

Maintaining that this will be the first-ever official logo of the city — designed to establish the Capital’s distinct identity as a new emblem — Gupta said the logo will reflect Delhi ’s modern, transparent, and people-oriented governance, while also representing the harmony between the city’s culture and its development.

To select the logo, Gupta had constituted a special committee, the CMO said in a statement. On Saturday, the CM held a meeting with the committee members, ministers Pravesh Sahib Singh and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma, and other senior officials.
