There isn’t anyone associated with the Blue Jays that will ever forget Joe Carter and his legendary, touch ‘em all, 1993 World Series winning home run.

So yes, the Rogers Centre was in full-on appreciation mode when Carter threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game 2 of this year’s Fall Classic on Saturday night.

Decked out in his No. 29 Carter Jays jersey, the Toronto sporting hero didn’t mess around. He threw from the mound, to Bo Bichette, and then when he returned to the dugout, Vlad Guerrero Jr. was waiting with the team’s home run jacket.

To another huge roar, Carter donned the threads than danced through the dugout high-fiving the current Jays.

It was another World Series to World Series moment, a night after the manager of those two teams, Cito Gaston, had the ceremonia
