Manheim Township girls volleyball earned a narrow victory Saturday, beating Mechanicsburg 3-2 (25-18, 25-23, 14-25, 18-25, 15-12) in a District 3 Class 4A quarterfinal matchup.

The Blue Streaks earned a spot in the PIAA Championships with the victory.

Katie Waterman led the Wildcats with 18 kills and added 19 digs. Litsa Glinatsis had a team-high 27 digs, and Eliana Inch added 13 digs and nine kills. Emma Heckard chipped in 10 kills.

Manheim Township will face Hempfield in the semifinals.
