SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday at the Circle K located on Pines Road.

Officers responded to the gas station after receiving reports of an armed robbery. When they arrived, officers spoke to an employee who described the suspect as a black male, about 5’10 and wearing dark-colored clothing with a brown covering on his face.

After stealing the money the suspect ran from the store, fired one shot into the air and got into a car heading east on Buncombe Road.

Detectives are actively investigating the robbery.
