BIDDEFORD -- The Husson University Eagles fell short to the UNE Nor'easters in the annual Lobster Trap Game by a score of 38-28 on Saturday afternoon.
After the two-minute warning in the first half, the Eagles possessed the ball and were looking to take the lead. Quarterback Max Clark decided to take a deep shot for Jacob Lenz who caught it in stride and walked in for the score, giving Husson a 14-7 lead.
The Nor'easters were left with time though, and tied the game up again on an 18-yard touchdown run from running back Damien Jones.
At the start of the third quarter, UNE fought down inside the five-yard line, and once again handed it off to Jones who leaped over the Eagles defensive line for another touchdown.
