When hockey scouts are scouring arenas for potential professional players, you’ll often hear them say they’re looking at the little things a player does.

Scouts should have been at the Brantford Bulldogs game on Saturday at the TD Civic Centre because they’ve obviously missed something with Cooper Dennis.

Dennis was key in two of Brantford’s goals in a 3-1 OHL win against the Oshawa Generals (5-9-0-0), lifting the stick of an opposing player to create a turnover for the first Bulldogs (10-0-1-1) goal of the night before setting up Aiden O’Donnell with a beautiful cross-ice pass for his team’s second goal of the game.
