There won’t be just trick or treaters coming to local homes across the municipality on Halloween night; some youth will be seeking food donations to help the less fortunate.
The annual Lancers Scare Hunger food drive in support of Chatham Outreach for Hunger will be held on Friday when students, staff and parent volunteers from the Ursuline College Chatham community fan out across Chatham-Kent.

“We have an outstanding team of students from our UCC Cares group leading this important social justice initiative, which is a demonstration of our Catholic values and our support for the community,” said UCC principal Lisa Harnarine in a media release.
