Joe Carter is a Toronto immortal . That swing, the one that resulted in a three-run walk-off home run to end the 1993 World Series assured that he will live forever in Blue Jays lore.

Carter held court before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for Game 2 of the World Series, only the second Fall Classic game to be played in Toronto since his career-defining home run 32 years ago. During the Jays’ 2025 playoff run, he has seen a couple of other big swings.
