LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Lafayette Parish voters will decide on two parish-wide tax renewals on November 15, which Mayor-President Monique Blanco Boulet said are crucial for maintaining key infrastructure projects.
The city-parish budget currently includes several major infrastructure investments, such as roundabouts at Ridge Road and Rue De Belier, which depend on the funding from these tax renewals. Mayor-President Boulet emphasized the importance of these projects for the parish's development.
"Several of those projects, we have funding coming from the renewal millages that are coming up for renewal," Boulet said. "And I just want people to realize what that money goes toward."
