BATON ROUGE, La. (KBTX) - It took more than 30 years, but Texas A&M finally notched a win inside Tiger Stadium.
With a 49-25 victory over No. 20 LSU, the third-ranked Aggies earned their first win in Death Valley since 1994 and advanced to 8-0 for the first time since 1922.

Why did A&M win? The Aggies began the game seemingly in control.
After an initial stop of a floundering Tiger offense, quarterback Marcel Reed converted the longest run of his career into a 41-yard touchdown on a uniquely designed play by offensive coordinator Collin Klein. Reed hooked on a short bootleg left, while the offensive line moved left with him. That opened up a running lane back to the right, which Reed exploited for the huge gain and a diving score.
