ALABAMA (WHNT) — The Alabama High School Athletic Association State Volleyball tournament starts Monday.

Several of our North Alabama teams are heading to Hoover in hopes of coming home with a blue map.

Here's a list of all the North Alabama schools competing this week:

Mars Hill Bible School Panthers

The Panthers will take the court for the first round of the state tournament on Wednesday against Tuscaloosa Academy at 10:30 a.m.

Elkmont Red Devils

The Red Devils will take the court on Tuesday against Mobile Christian at 9 a.m. This is the Red Devils' first state tournament appearance since 2007.

Lauderdale County Tigers

The Tigers will take the court on Tuesday against Northside Methodist Academy at 9 a.m.

Madison County Tigers

The Tigers will take the court on Wednesday
